RANGE AND LIMITATIONS:

The DALAL M&E air duct system is recommended for use in supply, return, fresh air, and exhaust systems for air conditioning, heating, and ventilation, within the following limits:
• Maximum Air Velocity: 20 m/s
• Maximum Pressure: 2000 Pa positive and 50 Pa negative
• Temperature: Air temperature considerations apply.

Regarding size, please refer to the installation procedures. Any size can be fabricated after technical consultation with the DALAL technical team.

The air duct system is suitable for a variety of residential, commercial, mixed-use, hotels, and light industrial applications. Moreover, it is highly recommended for use in high-end projects such as hospitals, the food and beverage industry, pharmaceuticals, and hygiene-controlled environments, among others.

This recommendation applies to settings where the use of fiber insulation is prohibited. Additionally, it is designed for both internal and external installations. It can be seamlessly installed in visible open areas, above false ceilings, and within confined enclosures, ensuring versatility and adaptability across diverse project requirements.

DESIGN AND PRESSURE DROP

Our company’s air duct system utilizes the same calculation and duct sizing methods employed in designing rectangular ducts for conventional sheet metal duct systems.

Furthermore, the pressure drop in our air duct system mirrors that of conventional sheet metal duct systems. Therefore, data on pressure drop from sheet metal duct systems can be directly utilized to calculate the pressure drop in it.

AIR LEAKAGE:

Fabricated in line with the recommended procedure, utilizing specified transverse joints and accessories, our duct system complies with the air leakage requirements set forth in the HVCA SMACNA standard.
